Mobile Internet
Mobile Internet can help you stay connected where ever you go. Whether you are on the road, by the pool, at the park or running errands, having the Internet at your fingertips will allow you to check your email, update your Facebook status or even connect with business associates. You can access mobile Internet on a variety of devices, including your laptop, tablet and cell phone. One feature that some cell phones come with is the ability to turn your phone into a mobile hotspot or mobile Internet modem to connect to your other devices. The mobile hotspot option allows you to share you mobile Internet connection with others who are near you at the time. This means that you and your friends can all share your mobile Internet to surf the Web. The mobile Internet modem option allows you to connect your phone to your laptop or tablet and use your phone as a modem to access the Web on these other devices. Both of these special options have restrictions. For a mobile hotspot, you need to be subscribed to a data plan that allows you to access the Internet from your phone. The hotspot option is usually a subscription service that you have to add to your cell phone plan and pay each month, on top of the charges for your data plan. This means paying more money each month to access this service. To use your phone as a mobile Internet modem, you not only need to have a data plan on your account, but you may have to purchase a specific phone, too. Not all phones may support this feature. As you can see, a new cell phone can give you several ways to access the Internet; not just from your phone, but from others' phones and your other devices as well.
